This alpaca wool knit kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. The scarf is named after one of our models, Kiki, who LOVED the Jade Green colour that you see in the cover pic. “But”, she said, “I like really really long thin scarves, more like a tie.” So, the Kiki Tie scarf was born. The thing about scarves is they need to be double-sided to look good, so we've found a great stitch that looks different, and great, on both sides. Just for Kiki

Standard 100g (225m) / Large 150g (337g) of Gorgeous DK yarn made from 75% alpaca/25% sheep's wool

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness. The scarf can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
