These patterns were originally meant for complete beginners, but the sampler scarf has been popular with all our regular knitters too, because you get to use so many different stitches.
We recommend matching this with our DK lightweight yarn in any colour you love and 4.5mm needles. The gauge recommended is 21 sts and 27 rows over a 10cm square. The amount you will need is or 200g (or 150g) if you want to make a shorter scarf.
