Knit Kit - Family Ribbed Cowl

This alpaca wool knitting kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. You can knit it in the round on circular needles or as a flat panel with single pointed needles. This knitting kit is made for the whole family, for all ages from 2 years to 110. It's worked in a simple 1x1 rib, and you can choose to make them in a single colour, or two colours, and there are plenty of options for different stripe patterns too. Available as a set with the matching hat.

Kit includes:

• Cotton alpaca project bag
• 100g (225m) Gorgeous DK yarn made from 75% alpaca/25% sheep's wool 
• Pattern 
• Optional 4.5mm circular or single pointed needles and a tapestry needle

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness.

 This set can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
